Join Harris Center teacher-naturalists for this fun and stimulating professional development workshop for teachers of all grades.

Who uses the gaps in a stonewall for shelter? Who prowls through our schoolyard at night? Where can we find evidence of wild mammals right outside our classroom? This workshop will inspire you to step outside and investigate New Hampshire’s wild land mammals just beyond your school door. We will focus on how the Harris Center lays the groundwork to prepare students for focused, productive outdoor mammal evidence exploration; mapmaking; simple outdoor class management tips for exploring a forest, field, or schoolyard landscape; supporting student-generated inquiry investigations; and recommended resources.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harris Center.
Cost: $120

Space is limited to 20 attendees, and registration is required by November 22. For questions about the event, including accessibility, please contact Jenna Spear.
