From May through early July, turtles will be leaving the safety of the water to search for mates and nesting sites. Do you know what to do if you see one crossing the road or nesting in your yard? Join wildlife rehabilitators Dallas Huggins and Drew Stevens of NH Turtle Rescue for an overview of New Hampshire’s native turtle species, and to learn how to be a good neighbor to your local turtles. Harris Center Science Director Brett Amy Thelen will also highlight several ways you can share your turtle observations with the scientific community.

5:30 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. To get the login details, please register here. Closed captioning will be available. For more information, contact Brett.
