Chidi Paige at the Education Lab

Join innovative STEM educator Chidi Paige for a talk tracing her path from student to successful science-themed game designer. Chidi will touch on her early interest in science, her struggle as a student on a science track in Nigeria, and how this unique experience propelled her quest for hands-on learning as an informal STEM educator in the United States, ultimately introducing her to the world of game-based learning. Armed with an insatiable desire to make learning fun for youth and families, Chidi’s career tentacles have now extended into science-themed game designing and publishing — with hopes of returning home to Nigeria to create student-focused, hands-on learning experiences for Nigerian youth.

Noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Closed captioning will be available. To get the login details, please register here.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Hancock Town Library, the Jaffrey Public Library, the Keene Public Library, and the Peterborough Town Library. The Women in Science Speaker Series is made possible with support from the Putnam Foundation, a donor-advised fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
