  • This event has passed.

Celebrate Women’s History Month with a series highlighting women scientists! According to
The Status of Women in New Hampshire – a report issued by the Institute on Women’s Policy Research in 2015 – only 24.6% of those working in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields are women. Come find out what some of them have been up to and how their work is shaping our understanding of the world.

As chair of the science department at ConVal High School, Carol Young not only teaches, she also inspires the next generation of thinkers. Learn about Carol’s journey to become a science educator, hear how she engages future scientists, and find out what’s new in STEM education. 7 to 8 p.m. at the Peterborough Town Library. For more information, please contact Susie Spikol Faber at (603) 525-3394 or via email.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Town Library.
