Join Antrim Elementary School teacher Liz Lawler for this free Zoom talk about creating nature-based learning experiences for K–5 students.

As an early elementary school teacher, Liz will share how she uses her love of children’s literature to connect her students to the natural world through all seasons. She will share techniques for bringing nature into the classroom, as well as exploring the outdoors with young students, and how this work led to the creation of Forest Fridays.

We created the Teacher Talk series to shine a light on nature-based teaching in the Monadnock Region. This year the Harris Center will offer a series of three teacher talks; autumn, winter, and spring. Each talk will be presented by a local elementary school teacher and will highlight how they create and guide nature-based learning experiences for their students.

4:15 to 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. To get the login details, register here. For more information, contact Jenna Spear or Jaime Hutchinson.

This event will be recorded. To ensure access to the recording, please register for this event, even if you cannot attend live.
