An Evolving Technology
Our solar panels were state-of-the-art when they were installed in 2003, but a lot has changed since then. Today, they generate only a fraction of the electricity needed to keep the Harris Center running.
In 2018, we’ll be replacing the existing 960-watt photovoltaic (PV) panel array with a newer, bigger, and more robust system. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting upgrade!
The Harris Center's original roof-mounted solar array is visible from the back field. Soon, it will be replaced with a system that will generate significantly more energy.
