Sharpen your senses and learn about the lives of your wild neighbors by joining Jonathan Shapiro of the Fox Paw School for a weekend of wildlife tracking. Most of our time will be spent in the field, where we’ll interpret the track and sign of the animals around us, covering track and sign identification, gaits, behavior, and more. For beginner and experienced trackers alike!

This Environmental Studies Institute (ESI) course meets Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harris Center and local field sites.

Cost: $250 for Harris Center supporters / $275 for all others.

Space is limited, and registration is required. For questions about registration, contact Miles Stahmann. For all other information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.

Jonathan Shapiro holds a Specialist certification in Track and Sign, and believes that a deep and accurate understanding of the more-than-human world is necessary for our health, both as a culture and as individuals. Through the Fox Paw School, he teaches long-term tracking, naturalist, and foraging programs.
