Join the Harris Center and The Nature Conservancy for a 1.2-mile, roundtrip ramble along an accessible trail in the heart of New Hampshire’s largest city. Search for migrating birds and other signs of the season with Harris Center naturalists Phil Brown and Susie Spikol, and learn how The Nature Conservancy created this All Persons Trail, which winds through a rare cedar swamp. With its compacted crushed stone surface, gentle grade, and resting benches, this trail is perfect for people of all abilities. Binoculars will be available to borrow.

9 to 11 a.m. at the Manchester Cedar Swamp Preserve. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. This site is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Birding for All outings are designed for people of all abilities, including those who experience accessibility challenges as a result of a disability or other health concern. Beginning birders welcome!

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, The Nature Conservancy, and REI.
