COVID-19 UPDATE: The Harris Center building will be closed to visitors until further notice. Our trails and grounds remain open.
Arianna grew up in Peterborough, NH and credits her encounter with the Harris Center as a student at Peterborough Elementary School with sparking her early interest in the environment. At ConVal High School, Arianna was part of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl for four years, including two years as the team captain. She also volunteered at Touchstone Farm in Temple with Horse Power, an organization that works with individuals facing physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Now studying Environmental Science at John Carroll University in Ohio, Arianna works with Professor James Watling to research the effects of habitat loss and genetic isolation on biodiversity.
During her 2016 internship with the Harris Center, she monitored conservation easements with our land protection and stewardship program.
