She grew up in Smithfield, Rhode Island. When not in school, she promotes sustainability through KSC’s Eco-Rep program and volunteers with the Harris Center’s Salamander Crossing Brigades.

Jessica has always had a passion for making science accessible. She hopes to pursue this passion by working in environmental education and research.

She is one of five KSC students who were hired in 2022 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC. In the spring of 2023, she returned to assist with our Salamander Crossing Brigade community science program.
