Matt is a senior at the University of New Hampshire, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Forestry. Having grown up in nearby Peterborough, he spent his childhood outdoors, often attending educational events at the Harris Center. At UNH, he has participated in research on the use of silvopasture to preserve forests while also supporting local farms. After completing his degree, he hopes to embark on a career in sustainable forest management.
During his summer 2018 internship with the Harris Center, Matt is monitoring conservation easements as part of our land protection and stewardship program.
