Kara Reynolds

Teacher-Naturalist

Kara Reynolds stands behind a large tomato plant with her hands on her hips.Kara (she/her) grew up in New Hampshire, juggling her need to be outside with her love of ancient history and her desire to become an elementary school teacher. In pursuit of this balance, she has had a variety of teaching experiences, from working in an English language school in Athens, Greece to teaching at the Sargent Center for Outdoor Education to starting a science program for K-5 students at a public elementary school. She is excited to continue her learning and teaching journey with the Harris Center.

In her “free time,” Kara can be found working with her husband on house and garden projects, as well as helping their three daughters find their own ways to enjoy the natural world.
