8:00 am to 11:00 am
Join Eric Masterson and Wendy Ward for an easy, 3-mile exploration of The Nature Conservancy’s Loverens Mills Cedar Swamp. This 50-acre wetland is one of the highest quality boreal cedar swamps in the state. Wendy Ward, a Soil Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), will help us identify spring wildflowers. We’ll likely encounter some birds typically found in northern New Hampshire as well. Meet at 8 a.m. at the trailhead on Loverens Mills Road, just off Route 9 in Antrim. Back by 11 a.m.
