Grizzly bear recovery, the reintroduction and recovery of gray wolves, increased protection for mountain lions, and other conservation efforts have led to a growing presence of large carnivores outside of protected areas of the western U.S. Now that we have them back, we have to figure out how to live with them. Join wildlife biologist Steve Gehmann — whose 35-year career has focused on western carnivores — for a review of the return of large carnivore populations, and a discussion of how humans and carnivores can come to coexist.
