Join the Harris Center’s fungi fans John Benjamin and Susie Spikol for a late afternoon wander around the trails of Shieling Forest. We’ll search for and identify springtime mushrooms like polypores, jelly fungi, and the famously elusive morels, and keep our eyes open for other wild finds as well. No experience necessary — just come with your curiosity! (Bring a field guide if you have one.) Afterwards, join us for an optional visit to the beer garden at Post and Beam Brewing. COVID precautions will apply, including small group size, COVID-safe distancing, and masks.
