Join us for a special evening with Running Grass, a national leader in the multicultural environmental education and environmental justice movements. Drawing on his extensive experience, Running Grass will offer thoughts on how we as a community of nature enthusiasts can offer our unique contributions to the national conversation on racial justice — and what we can do collectively to ensure that trails, conserved lands, and environmental education programs are welcoming spaces for all.
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. To get the login details, please register by filling out this form.
Running Grass is Director of Three Circles Center, which pioneers environmental learning strategies for racially and culturally diverse students and communities. He is Senior Lecturer in the Urban Environmental Education program at Antioch University Seattle and, after 22 years, has recently retired from the U.S. EPA as the Region 10 Environmental Justice Coordinator.
