Join naturalist Susie Spikol and forest ecologist Jeremy Wilson for a trees-and-tracks meander along the old railroad corridor from Peterborough to Greenfield and back. We’ll pause frequently to examine tracks and other signs of local mammals, and to take a closer look at notable trees and their natural history. This easygoing, 2.5-mile roundtrip outing follows a flat, wide trail perfect for an unhurried winter walk. Dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes (or borrow some from us).

10 to 11:30 a.m. in Peterborough and Greenfield. Exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is now full. To add your name to the waitlist, contact Miles Stahmann.
