- This event has passed.
Join Harris Center naturalist and avid reader Susie Spikol to discuss Leila Philip’s new award-winning book, Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America. We’ll also explore the natural history of beavers in this short course, which is sure to deepen your experience with the book Sy Montgomery described as “lyrically written, meticulously observed, and exhaustively researched.”
This group meets on Mondays, January 23 & 30, from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom.
Cost: $20 for Harris Center supporters / $40 for all others
Instructor: Susie Spikol is the Community Programs Director and a naturalist for the Harris Center. Although otters are her favorite New England mammal, she is also a fan of New Hampshire’s largest rodent and is looking forward to reading Leila Philip’s newest offering!
