Up to 20 species of diving and dabbling ducks can be found in the Monadnock Region’s lakes, ponds, and wetlands during fall migration, which typically peaks from late October to early November. Join Phil Brown, Nate Marchessault, and other duck enthusiasts as we caravan to multiple waterbodies in search of these migratory waterfowl and other late-fall migrants like eagles and gulls. Bring water, snacks, and binoculars (or borrow a pair from us).

9 a.m. to noon in Nelson, Harrisville, Dublin, and Hancock. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is required.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Phil or Nate.
