Field Foray with the SuperSanctuary Butterfly Club
Wednesday, July 1, 2026,
10:00 am to 11:00 am
- This event has passed.

Join Mark Ellingwood and the SuperSanctuary Butterfly Club as we search for swallowtails, satyrs, skippers, and other butterflies — and learn to identify them by their field marks, flight patterns, and behavior. A great opportunity to sharpen your butterfly identification skills before the SuperSanctuary Butterfly Count on July 18! Dress for the weather, and come prepared for sun, ticks, and other biting insects.
10 to 11 a.m. at the Harris Center and nearby field sites. Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.
Note: This event was originally scheduled to take place in Antrim, but has been moved to the Harris Center. Please meet in the Babbitt Room upon arrival.
