Sixty years ago, girls weren’t allowed to participate in the rigorous Outward Bound wilderness school. In 1965, 24 young women broke that barrier. Celebrate Women’s History Month with a big-screen showing of this award-winning documentary, which tells the story of those pioneering teenagers and how one month in the wilderness changed them – and history – forever. After the film, stay for a panel discussion with local alumni of the Outward Bound program, including Terry Reeves, John Kerrick, and Peri Chickering.

7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Peterborough Community Theatre. Space is limited, and registration is full.

For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.
