Join Stan Smith, an expert on the hunting and hiking habits of John Kulish, and Vic Starzynksi for a moderately strenuous, 2-mile hike at one of John Kulish’s favorite haunts along the North Branch River, through land recently conserved by the Harris Center. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the pulloff on the south side of Route 9 in Stoddard, 1,000 feet west of the junction with Route 123 North. Dress for wet ground, and be prepared for bushwhacking. Back by noon.
