Shinrin-yoku, also known as Forest Bathing, is gaining popularity in the U.S. after being practiced in Japan for decades. Through yoga poses, deep breathing, and quiet sensory observations, our revitalizing Shinrin-yoku sessions will help you slow down, catch your breath, and find solace in nature. These gentle rambles, led by certified yoga instructor Marilyn Wyzga and Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol, will wake up your senses and give you a chance to reconnect to the natural world and to yourself.
Mondays, September 23 and October 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and Tuesday, November 12 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. (full moon). All sessions will take place at Shieling Forest in Peterborough. Come to one or all three, and dress for the weather. No registration necessary!
Cost: $5 per class for Harris Center donors / $10 for all others
