In May 2019, Sigmund Winiecki of Peterborough Scout Troop 8 came to the Harris Center looking for an Eagle Scout project. One year later, he’s ready to cut the ribbon on a remarkable accomplishment. Join us for a 0.5-mile guided walk around the former Elmwood Junction Railroad Station on Sigmund’s new interpretive trail.

Meet at 9 a.m. at Elmwood Junction on Robinson Road in Hancock. (To get there, take Route 202 to South Elmwood Road, then take an immediate left over the wooden bridge.) Done by 10:30 a.m. For more information, please contact Eric Masterson at (603) 525-3394 or by email.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Hancock Conservation Commission.
