Every February, people around the world count birds in their neighborhoods as part of the Great Backyard Bird Count — observations that ultimately help scientists better understand global bird populations. Join the fun by counting at the Harris Center bird feeders with avid birders Steven Lamonde and Eric Masterson. Beginning birders welcome!

Stop by anytime from 9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center, and stay as long as you like — though space is limited, and registration is required. To register, please fill out this online form. Snow date: February 20.

If you’d prefer to bird even closer to home, visit birdcount.org for instructions, and plan to join us for stories and good cheer at a wrap-up Zoom from 5 to 6 p.m.  For more information, please contact Steven Lamonde.
