Calling all animal allies, nature noticers, and outdoor explorers! Join Harris Center naturalists Karen Rent and Susie Spikol to let your wild side out this spring. Uncover your wonder, and let the natural world be your teacher. Frogs, snakes, pond creatures, birds – come discover it all. You’ll also have an opportunity to be part of the Harris Center’s new nature podcast for families, Wild at Home.

This group meets Tuesdays, May 2, 9, 16 & 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center and local field sites.

On May 16, we’ll make a special, longer-day field trip to the Willard Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in Antrim to hike and go ponding. On that day, drop-off will be at 9 a.m. and pick-up will be at 1 p.m., both at Willard Pond. Rain date: May 23. All other days, we’ll meet at the Harris Center and wrap up by noon.

Cost: $100 per child for Harris Center supporters / $120 per child for all others

Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.
