Landscaping for Wildlife, Part II

Thursday, May 2,
6:30 pm
to 8:30 pm

Musing about your spring garden? Why not make a plan to welcome birds, butterflies, and other creatures to your yard while enjoying the benefits of color, shade, and sound? In this two-part workshop, Marilyn Wyzga – landscape designer and co-author of Integrated Landscaping – will guide you through the process of enhancing your yard for wildlife by taking cues from nature. Working both indoors and out, we’ll address the essentials: habitat through the seasons, design fundamentals, mapping and inventory techniques, and plant recommendations. You’ll leave with a basic plan for your yard, including ideas to start working on this spring.

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. (Part I takes place at the same time on April 25.) You can choose to attend one or both sessions.

Space is limited and registration is required. To register, contact Sara LeFebvre at (603) 525-3394 or by email. For more information, contact Eric Masterson at (603) 525-3394 or by email.
