Landscaping for Wildlife, Part II

Thursday, May 2, 2019,
6:30 pm
to 8:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

Our backyard landscapes provide valuable habitat for a variety of wildlife. You can enhance this home for birds, butterflies, and other creatures using native vegetation, cover structures, and water features. In this two-part workshop, Marilyn Wyzga – landscape designer and co-author of Integrated Landscaping – will guide you through the process of enhancing your yard for wildlife by taking cues from nature. Working both indoors and out, we’ll address the essentials: habitat through the seasons, design fundamentals, mapping and inventory techniques, and plant recommendations. You’ll leave with a basic plan for your yard, including ideas to start working on this spring.

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. (Part I takes place at the same time on April 25.)

Space is limited and registration is required. To register, contact Sara LeFebvre at (603) 525-3394 or by email. For more information, contact Eric Masterson at (603) 525-3394 or by email.
