LGBTQIA+ Community Hike at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve
Saturday, October 4, 2025,
10:00 am to 1:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Join Richard Doherty (he/him) and Hunter Kirschner (he/they) for an LGBTQIA+ community hike along a 1.5-mile loop trail to a lookout point with great views of Keene below. There’s a steep pitch on some sections of this moderately strenuous trail, but the trail is beautifully maintained, well-marked, and well-traveled. Bring lunch, and come prepared for walking on uneven surfaces and over the occasional downed tree. After the hike, we may convene at a local establishment for continued conversation, food, and drink. This hike is specifically for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve in Keene. Exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Richard or Hunter.
Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve.
