Calling all hawk fans – we’re in need of volunteer educators to help out at the Pack Monadnock Raptor Observatory this fall! If hanging out on top of Pack Monadnock, scanning the skies for migrating hawks, and teaching school groups about these amazing birds of prey sounds like a great way to spend some of your September and October days, consider signing up for this volunteer training. Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol Faber and HawkWatch coordinator Phil Brown will teach you the tricks of the trade, so you’ll be well prepared for sharing your love of hawks with kids who are hawkwatching for the first time. Come help the next generation of hawkwatchers soar!

9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center. RSVPs are requested, but not required. For more information or to register, please contact Susie at (603) 525-3394 or by email.

Cosponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and New Hampshire Audubon.
