Rock Hounders: A Rock and Mineral Adventure for Families

Calling all rock hounds! Join the Harris Center, Distant Hill Gardens, and the Monadnock Conservancy for a rockin’ outing to a feldspar and tourmaline mine. Discover the history of this mine, search for mineral and rock treasures, and make connections with other geology-loving families! This outing is for families with elementary-aged children and up to attend together. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Free of charge.

10 a.m. to noon at the Chickering Feldspar and Tourmaline Mine in Walpole. Space is limited, and registration is full. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration.
