Join avid hikers Kathy Schillemat and Rick Church to hike the Town of Nelson’s Partridge Woods, where we’ll search for ephemeral wildflowers and other signs of spring along the Ridge Trail. We’ll cover approximately 3 to 4.5 miles on well-maintained trails with an elevation gain of 600 feet. Bring a snack and plenty of water, and come prepared for spring conditions, including mud and insects.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the Partridge Woods trailhead on Brickyard Road in Nelson. Back by 1 p.m. Space is limited, and registration is required.
