Make a difference for our local rivers during the Connecticut River Conservancy’s 26th Annual Source to Sea Cleanup! Here in the Monadnock Region, we’ll focus on the Ashuelot River in Keene (Friday and Saturday), Swanzey (Saturday only), and Winchester (Sunday only). Some of the cleanup can be done on foot, but volunteers are encouraged to bring canoes or kayaks and PFDs if possible. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Keene (Friday & Saturday), Swanzey (Saturday), and Winchester (Sunday). Detailed location information will be provided upon registration, which is being coordinated by the Cheshire County Conservation District.
Co-sponsored by the Cheshire County Conservation District, the Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee, the City of Keene, Keene State College, Moosewood Ecological, NH Water Works Association Young Professionals, the Harris Center for Conservation Education, and the Winchester Conservation Commission.
