Join Susie Spikol, animal advocate and Harris Center naturalist, for an evening slideshow on the history of animals in space as part of the Hancock Town Library’s summer reading program. Find out which animal was the first living creature launched into space, who Laika was, and the name of the only cat to ever go beyond the earth’s atmosphere! This program will be entertaining for elementary-aged children and older, as well as adults.
7 to 8 p.m. at the Hancock Town Library. For more information, please contact Susie at (603) 525-3394 or by email.
Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Hancock Town Library.
