Summer Solstice Concert with Steve Schuch
Thursday, June 21, 2018,
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Fusing Celtic/Folk roots with a storyteller’s heart and humor, Steve Schuch’s artistry touches people on many levels. Haunting violin and loon calls, tales of mud season and black flies in all their glory, irrepressible singing and audience harmonies are all part of his wide-ranging repertoire. Critics have praised Steve’s “warmth and storytelling magic.” Credits include a Grammy nomination, PBS soundtracks, and five National Book Awards for his musical story, A Symphony of Whales. Steve has performed and recorded with folk legend Pete Seeger, Windham Hill’s Will Ackerman, storyteller Odds Bodkin, and his own Celtic ensemble, The Night Heron Consort.
