The Emerging LiDAR Landscape: A New Way of Looking at the Land

Rick Chormann, NH state geologist, will provide an introduction to Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology and how it works, with an emphasis on glacial landforms. The presentation will conclude with a segment on stone walls as landforms, their place in New Hampshire history, and the New Hampshire Stone Wall Mapping project.
