Join Harris Center and Peterborough Recreation staff for a morning meander on Cunningham Pond, where we’ll look for turtles, frogs, herons, and other wildlife. This pond offers the perfect flatwater experience for new paddlers, and an enjoyable exploration for more experienced paddlers as well. Bring your own canoe, kayak, or SUP and paddles and PFDs for each person in your boat — or rent a kayak from Peterborough Rec for $7. 9 to 11 a.m. at Cunningham Pond in Peterborough. Space is limited, and registration is required.

To reserve a kayak, contact Peterborough Rec at (603) 924-8080. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Recreation Department.
