Join Harris Center naturalist Phil Brown and Peterborough Recreation staff for a morning meander on Cunningham Pond, where we’ll look for turtles, frogs, herons, and other wildlife. This pond offers the perfect flatwater experience for new paddlers, and an enjoyable exploration for more experienced paddlers as well. Bring your own canoe, kayak, or SUP, plus paddles and PFDs for each person in your boat — or rent a kayak from Peterborough Rec for $7.

10 a.m. to noon at Cunningham Pond in Peterborough. Space is limited, and registration is requiredTo reserve a kayak, contact Peterborough Rec at (603) 924-8080. For other information about this outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Phil Brown.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Recreation Department.
