Go wild with science, reading, and doing in this nature and science book club led by naturalists Susie Spikol and Jaime Hutchinson! Each session will include a short discussion, followed by hands-on science and nature observation to bring the book to life. Read the books, then come ready to actively explore the science behind each read! Books are available to borrow from the Hancock Town Library. In October, we’ll read Who Was Jane Goodall? by Roberta Edwards. For children ages 8 to 10.

4 to 5 p.m. at the Hancock Town Library. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.

Be sure to check out these other Wild Scientist Book Club events: The Superpower Field Guide: Beavers on November 19 and Owls: Enter the World of the Mysterious Birds of the Night on December 17.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Hancock Town Library.
