Join Rosemary Mosco (cartoonist, naturalist, and kids’ book author) to dive into the funny side of nature — especially birds —  and discover why comics and science are natural allies. Rosemary will explain how she built a career that blends art and science, discuss the importance of science communication for wildlife conservation, and share some of the most entertaining creatures she’s encountered along the way.

Noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Closed captioning will be available. To get the login details, please register here.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Hancock Town Library, the Jaffrey Public Library, the Keene Public Library, and the Peterborough Town Library. The Women in Science Speaker Series is made possible with support from the Putnam Foundation, a donor-advised fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
