Contact Miles at (603) 525-3394 or by email to join the waitlist.

Join Matt Patterson, illustrator of the award-winning books The Book of Turtles and Of Time and Turtles, as he shares his knowledge of, and passion for, this ancient tribe of creatures. Together, we’ll search shorelines, sandpits, and wetland edges for nests, basking sites, and other turtle finds on this slow meander through prime turtle habitat. Perfect for elementary school-aged children and their families.

4 to 5 p.m. at the Harris Center. Note: this event was originally scheduled to take place at MacDowell Lake in Peterborough, but has been moved to the Harris Center due to the threat of thunderstorms. Space is limited, and registration is full.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.
