Are you a tween or a teen with an interest in birds and birding? Join a growing movement of young adults who are learning to recognize birds and their calls while building community with other young birders during this “Birds & More” BioBlitz outing with Harris Center Bird Conservation Director Phil Brown and naturalist Susie Spikol. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your skills, connect with other wildlife fans, and contribute to community science! For students in grades 5 through 12.

8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.

Be sure to check out these related events: the SuperSanctuary BioBlitz on September 7, SuperSanctuary BioBlitz After Dark: Moth Lighting on September 7, and the Young Birders Club Saw-whet Owl Banding Demonstration on November 1 (registration link to come).
