In September, the Nelson Trails Committee put the finishing touches on a new footbridge across Bailey Brook in Nelson. Located less than a thousand feet south of Old Stoddard Road, the bridge is part of a new trail through Harris Center-conserved lands to Osgood Hill and Kulish Ledges. Afterward, the Jolly Rovers Trail Crew led a trail construction workshop at the site, with a dozen local volunteers in attendance. Huge thanks to Dave Birchenough, Rick Church, Maury Collins, Tom Murray, Dave Patek, Al Stoops, the intrepid Jolly Rovers, and the many other volunteers who have donated time, talent, and equipment to the trail project!
