At the Harris Center’s 2025 Annual Meeting, community members gathered to celebrate a year of conservation milestones, honor outstanding educators and volunteers, and hear inspiring reflections from artist Rosemary Conroy.
On October 20, the Harris Center hosted its 54th Annual Meeting at the Peterborough Players, welcoming nearly 150 supporters for an afternoon of celebration, reflection, and recognition.
Renowned author Sy Montgomery received the newly established Eleanor Briggs Award at this year’s special event for supporters, “Turtles All the Way!”
We are excited to once again host local, nature-inspired art shows after a pandemic-related hiatus! In April, see photographer Laurie McGowan’s ethereal images of trees. In May, take flight with Rosemary Conroy’s vibrant bird portraits.
The Harris Center is turning 50, and we’re planning a whole year of celebrations! The festivities will kick off with our 49th Annual Meeting on October 20.
