What better way to celebrate 50 years of land protection and environmental education than by spending the year cataloguing all the birds that now make the SuperSanctuary their home? Eric Masterson, Harris Center Land Program Coordinator and birder extraordinaire, will lead this series of seasonal birding outings to Harris Center protected lands. Though many land birds have moved on, late waterfowl are moving south through the Monadnock Region in November. On this second field trip of the Big Year series, we’ll focus on birding the area’s lakes and ponds by car to see what we can find.

Meet at 8 a.m. at the Harris Center. Back by noon. For more information, please contact Eric at (603) 525-3394 or by email.
