Birding for All: An Accessible, Inclusive Birding Outing at Dillant-Hopkins Airport
Wednesday, September 20,
10:00 am to 11:30 am
- This event has passed.

Join avid birder Phil Brown and naturalist Susie Spikol on a search for migrating birds of all feathers. We’ll slowly make our way up a wide, paved road out to a large wetland in hopes of encountering hawks, waterfowl, warblers, and other songbirds. Our total distance will be about 1.5 miles. Bring binoculars (or borrow a pair from us), and dress for the weather and conditions, including sun and biting insects.
Birding for All outings are designed for people of all abilities, including those who experience accessibility challenges as a result of a disability or other health concern. Beginning birders and all ages welcome!
10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Dillant-Hopkins Airport in Swanzey. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is full.
For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Phil.
In an effort to create more belonging at the Harris Center, this outing has been designed with a specific group of people in mind. Learn more about our reasoning behind this on our Affinity Groups page.
