The latest studies show that children who spend time outdoors have less stress, anxiety, and depression; lower blood pressure; and a greater ability to concentrate and focus. Join Susie Spikol Faber for three mornings of learning about the many benefits of spending time outside with your family, and exploring outdoor activities that are developmentally appropriate for your child. Optional readings can support your experience in this program.

Spend time outside, discover natural history experiences to share with your family, and meet other parents who want to help their child(ren) build a lifelong connection to nature. Together, we’ll problem-solve ways to get around the roadblocks that keep us indoors when we really hope to be outside!

Mondays, October 22, 29, and November 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  at the Grapevine Family & Community Resource Center in Antrim. For more information or to sign up, please contact the Grapevine at (603) 588-2620.
