Join Dave Butler for a moderately easy exploration of the Forest Society’s Monson Center Reservation in Milford, an early settlement that existed from 1737 to 1770. We’ll use old roads and trails to visit original cellar holes, which have signs that describe the people who once lived there. Expect to hike 3 miles roundtrip along rolling terrain.

Meet at 1 p.m. at the Monson Center Reservation parking area in Milford. To get there, take Route 101 to Route 13 South in Milford. Take an immediate left at the light onto Emerson Road.
