Join Harris Center teacher-naturalists Nikko Gagnon and Kara Reynolds to hike the 1.9-mile Hiroshi Loop Trail, which winds gently through field and forest and along Nubanusit Brook to gorgeous views of Dinsmore Pond. As we go, we’ll learn about the land’s recent human history and search for signs of winter wildlife. Dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes.

10 a.m. to noon at the Hiroshi Loop Trail in Peterborough, which is located on the east side of Route 137, 2.1 miles north of its junction with Route 101. Space is limited, and registration is full.

For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, or to borrow snowshoes or spikes, contact Nikko.
