Forest Bathing Soak
Friday, August 29,
10:00 am to 11:30 am

Join naturalist Susie Spikol and yoga instructor Marilyn Wyzga to experience the quiet power of nature connection through the practice of Forest Bathing. Also known as Shinrin-yoku, Forest Bathing is an invitation to slow down and immerse yourself in the natural world through sensory awareness, standing yoga poses, breathwork, and other mindfulness techniques.
Wear a swimsuit for this unique opportunity to find stillness and connection by actually immersing in the pristine waters of Nubanusit Lake from a private beach along the shore. No experience necessary.
10 to 11:30 a.m. in Hancock. Directions to the exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie. Also, check out our other summer Forest Bathing sessions with Susie and Marilyn here.
Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Recreation Department.
