Join Brian Bishoff and Betsy Marshall for a hike through the Forest Society’s Madame Sherri Forest to Mount Wantastiquet, with excellent views of the Connecticut River Valley. Our out-and-back route will take us on well-maintained trails to lovely Indian Pond and scenic Mine Ledge, for a total of 2.4 miles and 660 feet of elevation gain, including the short, steep ascent to the Wantastiquet ridge. Bring water and lunch, and come prepared for sun and biting insects.

Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Madame Sherri Forest parking area on Gulf Road in West Chesterfield. Back by 2 p.m.

Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Brian.
